New Games 2026: All Upcoming Video Games (Release Calendar)

2025 is officially in the books as yet another incredible year for gaming, which means it’s time to turn our attention towards the new games coming in 2026. We’re barely out of the holiday season, yet the upcoming year is already shaping up to be something special. If things go to plan, we’ll receive blockbusters such as Resident Evil Requiem, 007 First Light, Wolverine, Saros, Control Resonant, and more in the same year.

Of course, there’s the tantalizing possibility of GTA 6 finally hitting current-gen consoles, but after recent delays, its November release date doesn’t exactly inspire confidence. There’s also an exciting slate of upcoming Xbox games, such as Halo: Campaign Evolved and Forza Horizon 6, that warrant some excitement. Upcoming Switch 2 games might not spark the same amount of hype, but you can bet on Nintendo to reveal some heavy-hitters as the year draws on.
